Vampire Diaries' Candice Accola Engaged to The Fray's Joe King

The Vampire Diaries star Candice Accola is engaged to The Fray guitarist Joe King, she revealed Wednesday.
"Cheers from the future Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Aaron King," Accola, 26, wrote on her Instagram account Wednesday, underneath a picture of her and King in Florence, Italy.
Hot summer TV eye candy!
Accola put her engagement ring on display in the picture, and in a subsequent photo she posted of her and King laughing together. Nina Dobrev was quick to congratulate her co-star. "DYING RIGHT NOW! SO excited/thrilled/happy/hyperventilating over ur engagement! #matchmadeinheaven I mean.. #matchmadebynina," Dobrev wrote. "What colors are we thinking for the bridesmaids dresses? Because yellow isn't a good color on me."
Post-proposal, King tweeted that he was a lucky man — and seemed to indicate that he proposed in front of a display of artisan cheeses. King, 33, and Accola met last year on the set of The Vampire Diaries.
Accola previously dated her co-star Zach Roerig. King, who recently released his debut solo EP Breaking, has two daughters from a previous relationship. (Source)

Jessica Simpson Plans to Get Married Soon After Second Baby's Birth

2013 promises to be doubly momentous for Jessica Simpson: The imminent birth of baby number two (a boy to join big sister Maxwell, nearly 13 months) -- and a wedding! More than two years after Eric Johnson's fall 2010 proposal, the Fashion Star mentor, 32, is at long last ready to wed, a source tells Us Weekly.
During her April 14 baby shower, Simpson "was telling friends she wanted to get married a few months after the baby is born," the source reveals. Simpson and former NFL pro Johnson, 33, have had to cancel nuptials twice thanks to surprise pregnancy news. Thus, the source reveals, "Jessica said, 'Let's have this wedding already before I get pregnant with another one!'"
Towards that end, the Weight Watchers spokeswoman -- who packed on about 70 pounds with Maxwell -- is already mindful about dropping post-baby pounds for the wedding. During pregnancy number two, the singer is getting help from a personal chef who cooks up calorie-conscious food at her new $11.5 million home in Hidden Hills, Calif.
"The chef is there all day," a second insider says. "Jessica eats things like egg whites and sausage. It's healthier." (Source)

Adam Levine Responds to Voice Controversy: I "Love My Country Very Much"

Adam Levine is in hot water after he was heard saying, "I hate this country," on Tuesday's episode of The Voice.
Levine made the remark after Carson Daly revealed that America had voted to save country music singer Amber Carrington, one of Levine's contestants. The statement was caught on Levine's open mic, even though the camera was focused on fellow coach Blake Shelton.
It's unclear what inspired Levine's comment, especially since America had chosen to keep one Levine's singers on the show. Earlier in the evening, however, two of Levine's other contestants, early frontrunner Judith Hill and soul singer Sarah Simmons, were eliminated. Perhaps he was hoping those contestants would stay longer than Carrington?
The Maroon 5 frontman seemed to try to clarify his comments as a misunderstanding on Twitter Tuesday night. He tweeted the definitions of the words "joke," "humorless," "light-hearted" and "misunderstand" all in succession. Levine also issued a follow-up statement on Wednesday. "I obviously love my country very much and my comments last night were made purely out of frustration," he said. "Being a part of The Voice, I am passionately invested in my team and want to see my artists succeed. Last night's elimination of Judith and Sarah was confusing and downright emotional for me and my comments were made based on my personal dissatisfaction with the results. I am very connected to my artists and know they have long careers ahead, regardless of their outcome on the show." (Source)
